Miotolan (furazabol)

Miotolan profile

Miotolan is a synthetic form of dihydrotestosterone and was developed to treat arteriosclerosis and hypercholesterolemia. Miotolan lowers the levels of bad cholesterol in the body while increasing the levels of good cholesterol.
Miotolan will increase the energy of the user because it removes the bad fatty lipids from the body and allows more of the good lipids that convert quickly into energy to remain.
Miotolan was quite popular among athletes up until the 1990s because for a long time it was undetectable in standard tests by professional and Olympic sports organizations. Unfortunately, there are now tests in place to detect Miotolan, although many people still take this drug for its desired effects of increased energy, muscle building and fat burning. Also, Miotolan does not cause water or salt retention and will not aromatize in the body.

Miotolan usage and dosage

The recommended dose for its medical use to treat arteriosclerosis is 2 to 6 mgs per day. There is not much information on what dose is effective for athletes to see performance results from the drug, however a dose of 10 to 20 mgs per day seems to be the consensus in the literature that is available.

Miotolan side effects

Miotolan does not aromatize in the body and therefore it is not possible to suffer from gynocomastia or other estrogen related side effects. It does, however, have a virilization effect on women, making it an inappropriate drug for women in high doses. Also, the reason why doses of this drug seem tepid and unsure in the literature for its performance enhancing properties is because it is liver toxic.

Miotolan availability

Miotolan is not readily available on the black market, so much that many people doubt this drug even exists. However, it does exist and the main reason it is not available is because it is very expensive to buy and users must take it every day to see any effects.

Miotolan research

Research into furazabol is predictable centered on treatment of arteriosclerosis and other cholesterol-related ailments. Other studies have centered on finding a way to detect the drug in urine testing.
